New chapter II

Today marked my third day working as IT Analyst. It's technical job which I'd be taking care of company's servers. Globally, there are more than 7000 servers and it's important task to keep these healthy and operating 24/7. Yes, it means I have to work on weekends or during public holidays sometimes. :(

It is a job which I'd never imagine myself would do throughout my life. My ambitions were always doctor, lawyer, businesswomen, policewomen, clerk or teacher. IT has never come across my mind. As I'm writing, I still think how funny it is for me to be landed in this profession. As an ex-system auditor, I often deal with the system administrators to perform system audit. Inside, I was wondering how could they be dealing the same thing everyday, clear all the tickets, maintain hard disks space, monitoring log, server back up, etc. Damn, what a joke. God thinks it's best if I could answer all my thinking and questions now.

Anyway, nasi dah jadi bubur and I have to convince myself that I'm permanently working now and that I should take it seriously and responsible towards my career and responsibility. No more pulling around and hopefully there's no politics within the department. So far, I've been very punctual and I'm so proud of that. Waking up at 545 every morning to be at office at 7 isn't funny okay. Btw, there are two shifts. 7am-4pm or 11am-8pm, and it gonna be rotated every month. Basically, I'm adapting myself there quite comfortably and it's really nice to be in there, because the big boss really take good care of the employees and making sure they are free of injury until there are no knife or blades available. The best they can provide? scissors. Oh, my company is beside KLCC... and wanna lunch ajak me k.

Haniff and I are planning to do gym at the company's. The condition of the gym is really very nice and it's relatively big and complete set with cycling room. Btw, I signed up for the yoga class every thursday and hope i didn't quit half way. :))
